Parker Thompson Tests at Homestead Speedway for Abel Motorsports

Getting back into on the Road to Indy for 2019, Parker Thompson joined Abel Motorsports at Homestead Raceway, in Florida for a pre-season Indy Pro 2000 test. With ten years of experience in open-wheel racing, 2019 marks Abel Motorsports first year in Indy Pro 2000. They are taking on the championship with primary driver Jacob Abel. Parker joined the team for the weekend, lending the team his experience and understanding of the Tatuus car after earning 2nd place in the Pro Mazda Championship for 2018.

Over the two day test, the #51 and #8 cars of Abel Motorsports put down consistently fast times, with Parker Thompson setting the fastest lap in two out of the four test sessions run.  The focus of the weekend however, was to prepare the team for the first race of the season: the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on March 8-10.
